This course is offered for students in grades:

3,4,5

The world of words and art collide in art journaling. You

are invited to the young artist's playground. Make a

splash! Discover your creative self. Explore colors,

textures, images, and words as yo

u make your own

journals while experimenting with combining writing and

collage, stenciling, lettering, rubbings, drawing, paint,

pens, and pastels. Come play, explore and experiment

with colors, images, words and lines while creating a

one-of-a-kind journal.

Fiber Arts

Time:Morning Period 4 (11:30 am-12:25 pm)

Five Week Session (June 21-July 26)

This course is offered for students in grades:

5,6

Create one of

a kind purses, bags, patchwork quilts,

greeting cards, accessories, and toys using fabric, wool

felt, yarn, string, paper and other fibers. Explore sewing,

embroidery, weaving, and felting processes. You will

come away from this class with fabulous ideas

for unique

creations for yourself and wonderful gifts for others.

Print and Stamp Art

Time:

Morning Period 2 (9:15-

10:10 am)

Five Week Session (June 21-July 26)

This course is offered for students in grades:

2,3,4

Use up-cycled and handmade tools to print and stamp

unique images and textures. We will use dozens of

household and hardware store items like string, washers,

corks, erasers rubber bands, and buttons to create

beautiful multilayer prints for journal covers, envelopes,

book covers, wrapping paper etc. We will also create

collagraphs, mono prints, relief prints and gel prints using

water based inks and acrylic paints.
